On Thursday, August 26th and Thursday, Sept 2nd, our Galesburg Catholic parishes will be hosting “come and see” nights from 7~8pm, in the McAteer Center at Corpus Christi Church. You will learn about the RCIA journey of entering the Catholic Church. You will not be asked to commit at this event, but informed and invited to take the next step to more deeply encounter Jesus Christ through His Church.
This journey is for anyone who has thought about becoming Catholic, anyone baptized but not confirmed, or anyone who wants to learn more about the faith their children are learning at school. This journey called RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) meets most weeks for one hour from September until Easter.
Along with refreshments, there will be members of the RCIA team and recent converts to the Church to visit with you to hear your story and share a bit of their story.
Please know that God is always inviting us into deeper intimacy with him. If you are Catholic and you have someone in mind please invite them and join them at this event.
